Who we are

Pawsterpiece is run by MB Residuum, company code 306725962, Vilnius, Lithuania. Contact: hello@pawsterpiece.com.

The photo you upload

Your pet's photo is used for one purpose: painting your portraits. To paint them, the photo is sent to our image-generation provider (Google's Gemini API). We store the photo, the paintings and the watermarked previews in our cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), and all of them are deleted automatically after 30 days. If you buy, we keep the portraits you bought, the photo they were painted from and its short description for 12 months, so you can download them again from your order page or from pawsterpiece.com/my and we can repaint or check them if you ask; then they are deleted too. Your browser also remembers your last previews for 29 days and the orders you opened on that device, so the page can take you back to them; this stays on your device, and clearing your browser data removes it. We never sell your photo, never use it to train models of our own, and never show your pet in our marketing unless you say yes first.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details and your email address; we never see your card number. We keep the order details (what you bought, the amount, the fee Stripe charged, your email and the pet name you typed) for as long as the law requires for accounting.

Measurement

We use the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics 4 to measure whether our ads and pages work (for example, that someone who saw an ad later made a preview or a purchase). In the EU, the UK and Switzerland they load only if you agree in the banner, and you can allow one without the other; everywhere else they load by default. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the home page, or block both with any content blocker. Google's advertising cookies stay switched off: we use Google only to count visits, not to show you ads. When they are on for you (in the EU, the UK and Switzerland only after you agreed), a purchase is also sent to them from our server, so that a closed tab or a blocker does not lose it: to Meta with your IP address, your browser type, Meta's own cookie ids and a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email, and to Google with Google's own visitor id. We keep these details with the order for 45 days, in case of a refund; when they are off, nothing about you is sent. To stop abuse of the free preview, we count requests per network address in counters that expire within about a day.

We also keep our own simple log of how the studio is used: that a page was opened, a photo uploaded, a preview painted, the files downloaded or a purchase made, with the country, the type of device and the ad or campaign that brought the visit. It uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and keeps no IP address: a visitor is counted with a code our server makes from the network address, the browser and the date with a secret key, so it cannot be turned back into an address and changes every day. Since this count stores nothing on your device, it covers every visitor. Remembering on your device which ad brought you (for 30 days, so that a later purchase can be credited to it) and a few clicks inside the studio, such as the styles you pick, start in the EU, the UK and Switzerland only if you allow analytics in the banner. We keep the log for 14 months and use it only to run and improve Pawsterpiece.

Your email for the free previews

To show your free previews we ask for your email. We use it to send you one email with the link back to your portraits, and we keep it for 35 days (the time your photo and previews are kept), then it is deleted. If you also tick "email me new styles and offers", we keep it until you unsubscribe, and we write to you only about Pawsterpiece: new styles, offers and reminders for gift dates. Every such email has an unsubscribe option, and replying "stop" works too. We store when and on which page you agreed, and we never sell or share your address. Emails are sent through Cloudflare, which hosts this site.

When you buy, we also send you one email with the link to your order page, so you can always get back to your files, and one more when every portrait is ready. If you ask for a link at pawsterpiece.com/my, we email it only to an address that has orders with us.

We keep a record of each email we send (to which address, when, and whether it arrived), so that an email that failed can be sent again. For the preview email the address and the content are deleted from this record after 35 days; for order emails the content is deleted after 90 days.

Canvas print updates

If you ask us to tell you when canvas prints launch, we keep the email address you typed for that one message and delete it within 12 months. It is not added to any other list and never shared.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask us to delete it at any time. One email to hello@pawsterpiece.com is enough. If you are in the EU you can also complain to the Lithuanian data protection authority (VDAI).

AI disclosure

Every portrait and preview on this site is generated by AI from a photo. We label this on the site and in your order.
